Gameboy Advance - Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone

Release date: 16th November 2001

Publisher: Electronic Arts

Devloper: Argonaut
  • For 1 player
The Gameboy Advance version of the game is a 2D action puzzler with mini-games thrown in as well.

The aim of this game is to get through your first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

You must complete tasks to get to the next term, these include potions lessons, finding Hagrid's runaway pets and a broomstick chase through the Forbidden Forest to retrieve Neville Longbottom's rememberall.

As well completing these tasks, you also have to attend lessons, learn spells and win house points. Add to this, over 20 characters to interact with and Quidditch to play, you have a pretty busy game.

If you're still not impressed with all that, maybe you could just go for a wander through all the different locations in the game (classrooms, dungeons, Diagon Alley, Gringotts and Hogwarts school grounds are to name but a few).
